Shop Haute is a mobile based thrifting app marketplace designed for the Mauritian audience. It allows users to buy and sell items, easily offering an eco-friendly and affordable option to fast fashion. It creates a local economy where the fashion community can find unique styles while reducing textile waste.
Our Mission
Shop Haute aims to tackle the current waste effects in Mauritius, as most of the the waste is generated from textile. Not only does fast fashion have effects on our community, it also effects our economy because Mauritius has a high import tax which affects local sellers.
For us to live well, we need to take care of our environment, and shopping sustainably makes small but massive impact our community and well being.
Our mission is to empower and educate Mauritians on the importance of shopping sustainably and that we can find trendy unique pieces at low cost while making a good contribution to the environment
